Article 1 – Identity of the Entrepreneur

Article 2 – Definitions
In these terms, the following definitions apply:

  1. Entrepreneur
  2. Ebikepartners B.V.

  3. Consumer
  4. The natural person who does not act for purposes related to his trade, business, craft, or professional activity.

  5. Distance Agreement
  6. An agreement concluded between the entrepreneur and the consumer via an organized system for distance selling, such as through the webshop.

  7. Products
  8. Bicycle parts, e-bike components, accessories, and related products sold through the webshop.

  9. Second Chance Product
  10. A used, returned, or slightly damaged product that is resold with an adjusted warranty period.

  11. Cooling-off Period
  12. The period within which the consumer can exercise his right of withdrawal.

Article 3 – Applicability
  1. These general terms and conditions apply to any offer from Ebikepartners B.V. and to any distance agreement between the entrepreneur and the consumer.
  2. By placing an order through the webshop, the consumer declares to accept these terms and conditions.
  3. If one or more provisions of these terms and conditions are wholly or partially null and void or are annulled, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
  4. Deviations from these terms and conditions are only valid if agreed upon in writing.


Article 4 – The offer
  1. The offer contains a complete and accurate description of the products offered.
  2. Ebikepartners is not bound by obvious mistakes or errors in the offer.
  3. Images and specifications are indicative and cannot lead to compensation or dissolution of the agreement.
  4. All prices on the webshop are inclusive of VAT and exclusive of shipping costs, unless stated otherwise.


Article 5 – Formation of the agreement
  1. The agreement is concluded at the moment the consumer accepts the offer and meets the conditions set.
  2. After receiving the order, the consumer will receive an order confirmation via email.
  3. Ebikepartners reserves the right to refuse orders or to impose additional conditions.


Article 6 – Prices and payment
  1. All prices on the webshop are inclusive of VAT.
  2. Any shipping costs will be clearly stated before the order is completed.
  3. Payment must be made using the payment methods offered on the webshop.
  4. If a payment is refused or unsuccessful, the order may be canceled.


Article 7 – Delivery and execution
  1. Ebikepartners will exercise the utmost care in processing and shipping orders.
  2. Delivery will take place at the address provided by the consumer.
  3. The specified delivery times are indicative.
  4. If a product is not available, the consumer will be informed as soon as possible.
  5. The risk of damage or loss of products transfers to the consumer at the time of delivery.


Article 8 – Right of withdrawal (return right)
  1. 1. De consument heeft het recht de overeenkomst zonder opgave van reden te ontbinden binnen 14 dagen na ontvangst van het product.
  2. 2. Ebikepartners biedt vrijwillig een verlengde retourtermijn van 30 dagen na ontvangst van de bestelling.
  3. 3. Tijdens de bedenktijd dient de consument zorgvuldig om te gaan met het product en de verpakking.
  4. 4. De consument mag het product slechts hanteren en inspecteren zoals dat in een fysieke winkel mogelijk zou zijn.
  5. 5. Indien het product verder is gebruikt dan noodzakelijk om het te beoordelen, kan een waardevermindering in rekening worden gebracht.


Article 9 – Exercise of the right of withdrawal
  1. The consumer can register a return via the return portal or viasupport@ebikepartners.com.
  2. After registration, the consumer will receive instructions for returning the product.
  3. The consumer must return the product as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after withdrawal.
  4. The product should be returned in its original packaging if possible.


Article 10 – Return shipping costs
  1. The costs for returning products are the responsibility of the consumer.
  2. If Ebikepartners has made a mistake or delivered a defective product, the return costs will be reimbursed.
  3. A different return procedure applies for lithium batteries due to ADR transport regulations.
  4. If Ebikepartners organizes the transport of a battery, a fee of €25 per return shipment may be charged.


Article 11 – Refund
  1. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product, Ebikepartners will refund the purchase amount including the standard shipping costs for the outbound shipment.
  2. Refunds will be processed no later than 14 days after receipt of the returned product.
  3. Ebikepartners may wait to issue a refund until the product has been received or until the consumer has demonstrated that the product has been returned.
  4. Refunds will be made using the same payment method that was used for the original payment.


Article 12 – Warranty
  1. Ebikepartners guarantees the quality of its products.
  2. New products have a warranty period of 2 years, unless otherwise stated.
  3. Refurbished products have a warranty period of 12 months, unless otherwise stated.
  4. The warranty only covers manufacturing and material defects.
  5. The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

    • normal wear and tear
    • improper use
    • incorrect assembly
    • external damage
    • repairs by unauthorized parties

  6. In the case of a valid warranty claim, Ebikepartners may, at its discretion:

    • repair the product
    • replace the product
    • provide a comparable product
    • refund the purchase amount in whole or in part

  7. This warranty does not affect the statutory rights of consumers.


Article 13 – Assembly and Use
  1. Many products sold by Ebikepartners are technical components for bicycles and e-bikes.
  2. For safe operation, Ebikepartners advises having products installed by a qualified bicycle mechanic or technical professional.
  3. Ebikepartners is not liable for damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, or failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions.


Article 14 – Lithium Batteries and Safety
  1. Lithium-ion batteries are products that can pose safety risks if misused or damaged.
  2. Consumers must use batteries only according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  3. Batteries must not be opened, modified, exposed to extreme temperatures, or mechanically damaged.
  4. In case of visible damage, overheating, or defects, the use of the battery must be stopped immediately.
  5. Returns of lithium batteries must be made in accordance with applicable transport regulations (ADR).
  6. Ebikepartners is not liable for damage caused by improper use, incorrect transport, or modification of batteries by the consumer.


Article 15 – Abuse of the Right of Return
  1. The right of withdrawal is intended to give consumers the opportunity to evaluate products.
  2. If it turns out that products:

    1. have been used intensively
    2. are damaged from use
    3. have been returned incomplete
    4. do not match the original product

    5. Ebikepartners may charge a reduction in value.
  3. In case of demonstrable abuse of the right of return, Ebikepartners reserves the right to refuse future orders.


Article 16 – Liability
  1. 1. Ebikepartners is uitsluitend aansprakelijk voor directe schade die het gevolg is van een toerekenbare tekortkoming.
  2. 2. Ebikepartners is niet aansprakelijk voor indirecte schade zoals gevolgschade, gederfde winst of schade door stilstand.
  3. 3. Voor zover wettelijk toegestaan is de aansprakelijkheid beperkt tot het bedrag van de betreffende bestelling.


Article 17 – Complaints Procedure
  1. 1. Klachten over de uitvoering van de overeenkomst moeten binnen een redelijke termijn worden gemeld.
  2. 2. Klachten kunnen worden ingediend via:

  4. 3. Ebikepartners streeft ernaar klachten binnen 14 werkdagen te behandelen.


Article 18 – Disputes
  1. 1. Op deze overeenkomst is uitsluitend Nederlands recht van toepassing.
  2. 2. Consumenten kunnen geschillen ook melden via het Europese ODR-platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/


Article 19 – Final Provisions
  1. 1. Indien een bepaling uit deze voorwaarden nietig blijkt te zijn, blijven de overige bepalingen volledig van kracht.
  2. 2. Ebikepartners behoudt zich het recht voor deze voorwaarden te wijzigen.
  3. 3. De meest actuele versie van de algemene voorwaarden is altijd beschikbaar via de webshop.
