Help us break down the e-bike market

Let's be honest. We are in a market that we do not fully understand yet.

Yes, we sell e-bike parts.

Yes, we are growing.

And yes, we are having fun.

But if you ask us:

  • How big is this market really?
  • Who are all the players?
  • Where are the biggest opportunities?

Then we have to admit: we don't know that well enough yet. And we need you for that.

What you will be doing here (and why this is not a standard internship)

You will not be just “tagging along.” You will have one clear assignment:

👉 Map the e-bike aftermarket as if you were going to invest in it yourself.

So not a report for school, but insights that we as a company will build on!

You will find out:

  • Who are the key players (and who are we missing)?
  • How does this market really work? (OEM vs aftermarket, gray markets, niches)
  • Where is the money?
  • Where is the growth?
  • And most importantly: where can we win?

What we expect from you

We are not looking for an “I do what I'm told” intern.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is curious (almost annoyingly curious)
  • keeps asking questions where others stop
  • enjoys structuring chaos
  • and doesn't mind that there is no clear path

You don't have to be an e-bike expert. In fact, it's better if you're not. Come join us in entrepreneurship!

What you get in return

  • Work that is actually used (no desk drawer projects)
  • Direct samenwerken met de mensen die het bedrijf bouwen
  • A lot of freedom (and therefore also responsibility)
  • Insight into how a scale-up really works (not just the nice talk)
  • And of course a market-conform internship compensation

And honestly: it will sometimes be messy, but it will be educational and above all fun!

Responsibilities

  • Mapping the e-bike aftermarket from A to Z (Benelux as a starting point)
  • Making clear how the chain really works (brands → dealers → aftermarket → platforms)?
  • Identifying all relevant players (both known and under the radar)
  • Mapping where supply and demand do not match
  • Identifying trends: which parts are growing fast?
  • Translating insights into concrete opportunities for Ebike partners
  • End result: an analysis on which we base strategic choices

Requirements

  • HBO/WO student, for example Marketing, Business Administration, Commercial Economics, etc.
  • You can work independently without someone explaining every step to you
  • You ask better questions than the people around you
  • You enjoy figuring out something that doesn't have a clear answer yet
  • You think not only in analyses but also in opportunities
  • Affinity with e-commerce, mobility, or tech is a plus

Bonus

  • Contributing to determining our assortment (what do we include/exclude?)
  • Observing how we select and purchase suppliers (also internationally)
  • Insight into how an e-commerce operation runs (from order to customer inquiry)
  • Brainstorming about growth: what should we invest in/not invest in?
  • Possibly contributing to new product ideas or propositions
